Introduction
She formed women Self Help Group named “Kshitiz” in Chandu village of Gurugram district in the year 2013 and was selected as President of the group.
She then assisted DRDA, Gurugram in forming a Mahila Gram Sangathan named “PV Sahyog Mahila Gram Sangathan” 12 self help group are formed and Under these 12 SHGs the strength of women’s around 150 + in women SHGs. She was selected as President of the Mahila Sangathan as she was coordinating the activities of all the SHGs. She was acting as a bridge between women members of the SHG and Government and helped the village women in getting the benefits of Government schemes.
In March, 2018 with the help of NGO Access Development, the group started a company named “ZingnZest” in which Smt. Pooja Sharma was given the position of Director. In the company, 24 other women are working as partner as they also hold shares in the company.
CSR Activities
Pooja Sharma and her Kshitiz group have engaged in some CSR activities, such as donating their products to the needy, providing education and health care to the children in their village, and planting trees and using biodegradable packaging to protect the environment
Innovation and Creativity
Pooja Sharma and her Kshitiz group have shown innovation and creativity by making and selling healthy and nutritious food products from locally grown crops like soybean and millet. They have also diversified their product range and introduced more products like Biscuits and Cookies.
